Yamaha XJ550 Cafe Racer | "Ocean Wave" by Matteucci Garage, got an interesting mail from my good friend Marco Matteucci On his new Custom Yamaha Cafe Racer Project,
" Hi Melwin,
this is the last of three bikes that I bought last August when I decided to try to see if I could build a motorcycle like he liked me.
This bike, like the Moto Guzzi Black Boot and Suzuki Race Cream, were born to a personal challenge, and before this, I had never even had a hand to change the oil.
I am a photographer. Each bike was a test, and each test I made it increasingly difficult.
I build this bike for a passion but it can become a nice work.

On a Yamaha XJ550 '83 based for this discreetly biting profile special.
Completely restored.
Replaced front axle with suspension Marzocchi upside down forks, Brembo brake system with 320mm floating disc and grooved tires. Also Marzocchi for rear shocks. The tail was made by hand and inside there is housing the electrical and battery. The saddle is made up of two separate cushions covered with fine leather and aged by hand by expert craftsmen. Exhaust 4-1. Digital instrumentation with electronic sensor. Vintage blue paint with matt / glossy contrasting and dark titanium frame give it the colors of the sea, the colors of freedom."
